IT salary report from 2025
In March 2025, we published the 4th edition of our report on the IT job market in Poland: “IT job market in Poland in 2025. Salaries and recruitment trends”. Using an online survey conducted between October and December 2024, we collected responses from 811 IT specialists, complemented by 20 expert insights from professionals in the HR and IT sectors.
Salaries of IT specialists – the latest reporting data
Based on the collected data, we prepared an overview of average IT salaries in Poland, broken down by job roles and experience levels.
To organize the data consistently, we adopted the following classification for seniority levels (both in the survey and in the report):
- Trainee – currently in an internship
- Junior – up to 2 years of experience
- Mid – 2 to 4 years of experience
- Senior – 4 to 10 years of experience

Salaries in IT – how much does a Frontend Developer earn?

The data shows that a Frontend Developer working under a B2B contract earns on average between 8,415 PLN and 29,969 PLN, while under an employment contract (CoE), the range is from 6,893 PLN to 25,113 PLN, depending on experience.

Salaries in IT – how much does a Data Scientist earn?

The data shows that a Data Scientist on a B2B contract earns an average of between 10,098 PLN and 30,181 PLN, while on an employment contract (CoE), the average ranges from 8,160 PLN to 25,050 PLN, depending on experience.

Salaries in IT – how much does a Security Engineer earn?

The data shows that a Security Engineer on a B2B contract earns an average of between 10,000 PLN and 32,173 PLN, while on an employment contract (CoE), the average ranges from 8,750 PLN to 26,060 PLN, depending on experience.

What IT positions and average salaries are in the 2025 report?
The report includes salary data for roles such as: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, Frontend Developer, DevOps Engineer, AI Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Security Engineer, and Cyber Security Engineer.
Additionally, you’ll find average salaries for technologies such as Java, .NET, C++, Python, and Node.js.
Pay raises and bonuses in IT in 2025
In 2024, salary increases were most commonly received by Mid-level IT specialists (45%), and least often by Seniors (19%) and Experts (20%).
Bonuses were primarily discretionary (57%) and performance-based (44%), with the share of performance bonuses increasing compared to 2023.
The number of raises declined compared to 2023, which may indicate a more challenging market situation – particularly affecting more experienced IT professionals.
This could suggest that companies are managing salary budgets more cautiously, focusing on cost stabilization and primarily rewarding performance.
